I still cannot believe that 2017 has come to an end! Looking back at my 2017 resolutions I can tell you that I miserably failed at bullet journaling, reading a book per month and pretty much everything that has to do with organization. For 2018 I will give another shot to bullet journaling (or just a regular planner) but most importantly, trying to meet the goals that are set on paper. I’ve been watching so many Youtube videos about the calligraphy used for these journals,
which I honestly suck at, that being said, I will try my very best at it and report back to you. Anyways, that’s not the reason you’re here, so let’s get to the good stuff. I’m going to show you some of my favorite things of 2017, I decided that I wouldn’t put this post in only one category like “beauty” products, because there’s so much more things that I loved this year.

When I was little, I thought that I would feel different after turning a certain age or reaching a big milestone. I was pretty sure that once I was done with elementary school I would feel like a different person, but once I was done with the sixth grade, nothing changed. It feels silly to say it now, but I really thought turning thirteen would be when I would feel different or something would change because I would officially become a teenager, I hate to break it to you but nothing really changed. Of course things changed overtime in my life, but not in the way little me thought they would. “How does it feel like to be 16?” – would ask my friends and family… “How does it feel to be 18?”. “I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling 22” – said Taylor Swift, I keep wondering what she felt like at 22.
We know it’s fall because the leaves start changing colors and falling off trees… actually you’re lucky if you get to experience the fall foliage first hand, sadly you cannot experience the change of seasons so vividly everywhere. We know it’s fall because you can snatch a pumpkin spice latte at your nearest Starbucks, everywhere.
I love fall, in fact, it might be my favorite season. The weather it’s not too cold, but cold enough to snuggle in your favorite oversized sweater, drink a cup of hot chocolate and watch Netflix as if the world depended on it.
When it comes to colors, fall has always been characterized by shades of brown, orange and green… until this season. Fall 2017 has some unexpectedly colorful surprises, without leaving the traditional hues aside.
Fenty x Puma, September 2017.
Just in the middle of September, the fashion year kicks off. The NYFW is just the first of many exciting weeks to follow in the fashion industry. The eyes of the world will be glued to the globe’s biggest fashion capitals, starting with the city that never sleeps, New York.
I guess I won’t be able to describe in detail what happens in that city during that magical week until I get to experience it first hand, until that, what I can tell you is that the hustle and bustle of concrete jungle multiplies by a hundred and the streets get filled with fashionistas and people with dreams bigger than themselves.
Let’s go to the beach-beach let’s go get away. Despite the thousands of tourists visiting the beaches of the world during this time of the year, summer is still the best moment to pack your bags, get away from the noise and stress of urban life and get some well deserved vitamin D.
Inspired by the beachy vibes of summer, I made a checklist so wether or not you’re lucky enough to be going to the actual beach, (it works too if you’re just enjoying a day by the pool), you’ll have everything you need to make the most of your day.
